We have seen our first Orange-crowned and Townsend’s Warblers this week. More
entertaining has been a male spotted towhee assault on our pickup. He has
found his reflection in the darkened window in the back and has been after it
all week. We have driven him away but he will not be deterred. Sharon finally
felt sorry for him and went out and covered the windows. We went out this
morning and he was attacking the chrome bumpers.
