Oops!  I should have looked at a map.  I think those robins were flying nnw
last night.

This morning the trees just to the south of our house was just singing with
robins.  We live about 1/2 mile from Bimart.

I agree with Robin — flying sw.  Interesting to note is that on Jan 10 I
commented in my journal about all the robins flying in the same locations, but
I didn’t bother to count or pay attention to how long the sight lasted.  I
think they are heading to their roost.  Anyone know where that is??

What was their flight direction?

birds!  It is mind boggling!

A possible place where there is some parking would be the fire station area at
the corner of Garden Valley and Del Rio looking to the west.  Also River Forks
Market might be in their path.

Can you suggest a good place from which to watch? Would love to see it.

Tonight we started to watch for the robins moving from southeast to northwest
over Garden Valley at 5:15 (10 minutes earlier than last night), and there
were already hundreds in the sky.  We will start to look for them even
earlier tomorrow.  The flow of birds went on for over 35 minutes after we
started to watch, and the total must have numbered in the tens of thousands.
