At about 5:25pm this evening we noticed a huge group of robins flying from
southeast to northwest over our hilltop home in Garden Valley. The width of
the flock was at least half a mile, and there were hundreds of birds in the sky
at one time. This continued for more than 10 minutes, so there must have been
thousands and thousands of birds all together. Where were they coming from,
and where were they going?? What a spectacle!
