Hi Anya~
This is a Bewick's Wren.
Which bird audio app did you use, just out of curiosity? I just used BirdNet
and it gave me the correct answer. Selecting just one song and hitting the
"analyze" button gave weaker results in the "Wild Guess" category, but
selecting 3 songs in a row and then "analyze," gave me an "Almost Certain"
rating. More species vocalize towards the end of the recording including a
Yellow-rumped Warbler that gives a chip note a few times.
Cheers,
Russ Namitz

Subject: [Umpqua Birds] Oak titmouse call?
Flitting through some distant trees this morning was a small bird I couldn't
capture on camera making all kinds of excited sounds and calls. A bird sound
recognizer app I have suggested it could be an oak titmouse, which I have never
seen before. I'm attaching the sound bite. The first half is the same call over
and over again and then towards the end it started making all kinds of
different sounds. This was in Myrtle Creek by the golf course, February 17th at
11 a.m.
Thank you!
