I was out in Gardiner today our first sunny day in awhile on the coast and
heard my first neotropical migrant-Orange Crowned Warblers. They seem a little
late to me? Sometimes I hear Nashville Warblers first but OCWA wins as first to
Gardiner this year. Haven't heard any talk of migrants yet. Anyone
seeing/hearing them over inland?
If I am being completely honest, I detection (visual) a neotropical cat caught
migrant with no head-that cat is on my poop list! And it was too yellow below
for an OCWA, my guess was NAWA based on what was left of the bird, but couldn't
be sure.
Best Birding,
Robin
