About midday Monday April 5 this week, a Green Heron flew into a downtown
Roseburg tree, in front of North Forty pub on SE Jackson Street. Nest
material is visible in that tree, and the heron soon left to join another
one in flight further south down the street. Audubon has encouraged heron
watching downtown, and it seems it’s that time again.
