Subject: November block captain cleanup
Greetings Block Captains,
Just a reminder that we are having our November block captain cleanup this
Saturday, Nov 11, at 10 am. This month, we will tackle the overgrowth on
Emming Street much like we did on Warner Street in August and Marshall
Street in September. We'll be taking our saws, pruners, weed whips, and
blowers to clear the overgrowth coming off the hillside of the Channel 5
Tower property. Who knows, perhaps we'll find some missing vehicles under
there when we're finished. :)
Meet in front of 265 Emming Street (Tracy Schwetschenau's house). We'll
start with coffee from Baba Budan's, and then we'll get to work. If you
don't have much time to spare, we would love it if you could just stop by to
have some coffee and say hi.
We will also be mulching the trees nearby, and if time and people power
allow, we'll do some litter pick-up in the area (along Emming, Klotter and
lower Wheeler/Stratford/Victor/Flora).
