Summary of CUF Trustee Meeting for January 08:
The whole meeting was dedicated to the proposed development of "Block 4" on
the South side of UC between Calhoun and McMillan. A group from UC
explained their proposition that Town Developers develop
block 4. The UC presentation was followed by a lengthy discussion to decide
whether CUF (as a voting member of the CHCURC) would vote for this
proposition, vote against the proposition, or to abstain. The final trustee
vote was CUF would abstain. Though CUF did not have a clear reason for
opposing the proposition, it was also not at the present time in a position
to go on record as supporting it.
