Is there a standard UEB rule for “colon” in ratio comparisons?
1. 3:4 (no space on either digit), or
2. 3 : 4 (space before and after)?
Likewise, for Set Notation,
{x:x is a resident at …} or
{x : x is a sttudent at …}?
We are unsure whether “space” or “no space” is the correct method! Please clear
our doubt.
