Afternoon all.
In the ABCs of UEB, section 3.5(e), this section refers to the groupsigns ch,
st, ou, th and sh contractions. In this section, it states that these signs can
be used where they occur, but not if the letter h is aspirated. At the risk of
sounding dumb, what exactly does aspirated mean, in regards to these
contractions? Thanks much.
