The only reason that I have been able to come up with is that they are not
included on the shortform list.

Subject: [ueb-ed] Sneaky Shortforms! Please can you explain "mustard" and
"mustang" to me?

Greetings

Please can you explain to me why we use the "mST" shortform in "mustard" but
not in "muster" or "mustang"?

Thanks in advance

Margaret
