I am interested in Jerry’s inquiry, too.
Jerry’s inquiry reminds me of how I learned the exclamation point on the
portable manual typewriter in the third grade. In those days, the typewriter
keyboard was limited in terms of punctuations.

Subject: [ueb-ed] Single and Double Quotation Marks
Morning folks.
I was going through the most commonly used symbols in UEB, and it brought up a
question. Regarding the full keyboard on a desktop and laptop computer, where
are the single and double quotation marks? I know that the left quote is the
control ‘'apostrophe key, which is just to the right of the semicolon key. I
hope this made sense. Thanks.
