I am delighted to pass on the attached concerning a free on-line course for
learning UEB braille mathematics. Australia adopted UEB long before us, and
have a wide experience of its use.
Before posting I asked about costs, and got the following reply.
"The UEB Online literacy and mathematics training programs are free. If someone
wants a certificate of completion, the charge is AU$50.00. This model enables
people in developing countries to learn braille. It is generally professionals
who want the certificate of completion for their employment."
(50 Australian Dollars is currently around £25 - £30)
