Jose
No big deal but I was not paid for ANY umpire assignments as far as I remember
last year. Happy enough for money to go into the club funds but just sayin'

Dear
All
See email
below, invitation to AGM – I might be able to go (not
sure yet), if anyone else also wants to go, can you let me
know? (we might be able to share).

Baseball Ireland
AGM - please forward to your teams Dear
Friends,
Just to remind you
all that the Baseball Ireland AGM for the 2017 season will
take place this Saturday 11th February at 11am in the
Generator Hostel, Smithfield, Dublin 7.
I hope your club
can send a representative and you can have your
say.
I want to remind
all clubs of the two key decisions taken at last year's
AGM. In order to compete in the Adult League 2017, all clubs
must elect a committee and have a bank account. You have had
a full year to prepare for this. Umpire training is now
mandatory and all clubs must send a representative once
dates are confirmed.
On a personal note,
this will be my last AGM as President. We have had some
challenging times over the last three years, and I want to
thank all of you for your work in growing the Baseball
Community here in Ireland. We have achieved a lot together,
and the growth of the game in Belfast, Ashbourne,
Cavan/Monaghan and West Clare is great to see, even if the
Dublin teams have seen a decline in playing
numbers.
Hopefully we'll
catch up on Saturday, and I look forward to seeing you on
the field in 2017.
Best
wishes,
Peter
