I try to explain : "Tu essayes de profiter de sa faiblesse pour arriver à tes fins". ;-)Hi Richard
Thanks for the explanations of the "state" of the GUI .. I have already understood that you're really busy and it was not really a "request"..
Huh! You're not wimping out on me are you? ;-) >> sorry but i don't understand wimping .. i'm french and in my disctionnary it's like being afraid.. so i really don't understand .
I only hope that when i say i'm not a good bug hunter you're not thinking that i want to let you do all the stuff and that you haven't my support or .. heuu only hope this phrase wasn't too negative for ya ..

Noted. These are all things that I hope to work on in time. The current Gtk+
GUI needs to be taken out and shot (it's a horrible mess), but as always time
is the issue.
Actually, I've been mulling over whether it would be a good idea make the GUI
a separate process which talks to E-UAE via shared mem or a pipe. A problem
with Gtk+ is that it wont work if your binary is SUID root, which UAE really
needs to be able to do cool stuff like a PCI wrapper, Catweasel support, or
even to let you run in DGA mode (unless you want to run it as root, which
isn't advisable).
so i let you dig in the code to find them by yourself .. i'm not a good bug profiler :p
