[uae] 2-player over internet?

This idea just popped into my head: is it possible to sync the states of two
amiga emulators over network so I can have 2P games over the internet..?
would require an awful lot of syncing, RAM, drives, irqs, register states etc
etc, guess that would exceed bandwidth.. just asking :)
