[u3aavcuss] Organising Photos

Can you please help me again?
I have scanned some photos to my computer and given them file names numbered
EP1-15.
and then transferred to My Pictures.
The next day I scanned some more photos and named them EP16-30
In my list of files the most recently scanned have been shown first.
How can I show the list or icons numerically, as it is important that the
photos are shown chronologically.
Also the slide show does not seem to be in any order at all.
The drop down menu does not seem to allow the files to be sorted numerically.
