Subject: [typeabilitybeta] TypeAbility 3.0.9 ready for download

Beta Testers,

TypeAbility 3.0.9 is ready for download from your FTP site. Please test
it
out ASAP!

Here are the fixes.

In Lesson 76 for typing arithmetic with num lock on. Everything is
fixed.
Here's the details.
1. When incorrectly using numbers from the number row in the QWERTY
section,
instead of the keys from the numpad, then when T A corrects the student,
it
will
differentiate for the user, the numbers from the number row, and the num

pad.
2. When the user incorrectly uses any of the numerical operators in the
QWERTY section that
correspond to those that are in the numpad, for instance dash, equals,
slash, dot, T A will differentiate these for the user.
3. In general, when typing the wrong num pad key, more than one time in
a
row, T A will tell the user the location of the correct key, just as it
always normally does in other lessons.
4. All the arithmetical tasks are properly tracked so that when the user

presses the
desired key, T A recognizes it correctly.

In lesson 77 for selecting text. When you've finished the last task, T A
improperly said, "nothing selected. " This is fixed.

Running races with F5. You can not run a race in Lessons 61 through 77.
Or
in lesson 1 or lesson 5. So, when trying to run a race in a lesson above
60,
TypeAbility will tell you that a race is not possible in lessons 61
through
77. And when trying to run a race in lessons 1, or 5, T A will just tell
you
a race is not possible. In that case, I didn't want to burden beginning
users with too much information.

That's it for the fixes. I did not address Brian's observation that when

TypeAbility greeted him, it incorrectly said it saw him just earlier
today .

Thanks,

David
