I have found "racing" tests to be OK although I am unclear myself as to
which lessons you can undertake a race with because sometimes it advises
me I cannot undertake a speed test with a particular lesson. Perhaps
you could please explain that? I will try custom passages later and
report back and within the next 24 hours, I hope to have reported back
to verify that the issues which are documented as fixed are indeed
fixed.
Are there other people on this list apart from myself and Scott?

Beta Testers,
T A 3.0.8 is ready for download from your FTP site. Please put it
through
the hoops. I need to finish de bugging TypeAbility ASAP! By the way, I
haven't heard any comments on racing, or dictation yet.
Now, 3,0,8 has the following fixes.
1. The first page of the installer tells JAWS users to set screen echo
to
all, and to return it to highlighted at the end of the installation.
2. When T A first opens with the sign in dialog, the welcome message is
appropriate for both adults and children. And after the student signs
in, if
they are a first time user, the welcome message is appropriate for both
adults and children.
3. All instances of the message, percent 1, have been fixed.
4. The last Lesson on selecting text is fixed.
5. Basically, all reported bugs in the scripts were addressed.
