Hi David 1. During dictation tasks, the default Typing Echo setting is words. It also has a user preference to have no typing echo during dictation tasks. BH Yes, both work fine, including the preference. I disabled it to check it. 2. Just for purposes of testing, Pressing CONTROL SHIFT + F7, will toggle the typing echo voice from lower, to higher. Please experiment and see which voice you like. BH Personally speaking, I think the high voice is far too close in pitch to the regular voice which is being used to deliver the dictation. If you listen to that segment in my audio CD, you will hear that the audio output is very busy when words are being echoed as well which is why the preference is important, and just adding that high voice to the mix does not make for good listening. 3. Documentation has been updated to reflct the new Typying Echo scheme. The documents that were changed are Help, and What's New. BH OK. I will have to change the T&T docs as well unless you have already done it. 4. In lesson 66, for the last task, I did not adjust the double F1 report. BH But you did adjust the language for the localisation in that lesson which is appreciated, thank you. There are a number of significant problems using TypeAbility with jaws V10 at the moment, and I need to test more thoroughly to correctly document these difficulties for you. But we need to get this build out and worry about jaws V10 later because V10 is far from complete anyway. But if we can just make a decision about the voice for speaking words and get a final build together I think that would be good. I'll try not to find anything else, but after all, that is what beta testing is all about! But we need now to get a product which we can start shipping when customers want it. Thanks David. Brian
