[typeabilitybeta] Regional language settings

Testers,
For now, if the English speaking region is not the United Kingdom, the
scripts will assume that the the keyboard layout is the United States
layout. But as far as language, do you know if any of the following
countries use the British language preferences?
Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, South Africa.
