It could well be more complicated than that. I have just started work on localising the product for UK distribution and I can see some of what David is doing in terms of key assignments. But perhaps david the laptop layout could be supported in the next major version? You are right. If you use the laptop keyboard layout, it doesn't work as it should, but switching to the desktop layout works just fine. Is there any major difficulty in allowing us to use the laptop layout as well as the desktop layout? I guess the only differences is the JAWS keystrokes. Or is it more complicated than that? In earlier builds, it used to say that. But I fixed that problem in TypeAbility 3.0.11. Are you running 3.0.11? Can anyone else duplicate this problem? Please go to lesson 77, and after you complete a task by pressing the Delete key, listen closely to see if JAWS reports the result of pressing the Delete key. For instance, it would say blank, or a letter. It should not be doing that. Let me know. For example, "that's it, now press shift plus right arrow, then delete, blank". Also, in the list of tasks activated with F4, the delete key is not given as part of the task. For example, the first task in 77 is listed as Select Next Character. Shift+RightArrow. But in 76 and other lessons, the description is more complete, for example 7, dot, 53, then ENTER.
