It will include the fixes for the issues you've brought up. It will also have the default dictation preference of Typing echo turned
off. There will, of course, be a User Preference to turn it on. David----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Erichsen" <pianoman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

David, Firstly I didn't actually turn off Typing echo at all, but you are
right.
outAccording to my user preferences with all 4 users it was turned off. I will do a fresh install of TypeAbility on my desktop and test it out again, but it's working at the moment. Sorry if it caused a problem, but at least we nailed it. Now to find
why when I create a new user Typing echo is not being turned on by
default.

The reason why you're not hearingtyping echo during dictation, is because it has been turned off. If
you
closelypress CONTROL SHIFT +U, you'll hear your user preferences. listen
to Items 8 and 9. Item 8 will tell you that you have no typing echo
during
Dictation tasks. Then turn back typing echo on in the User Preference dialog and see
how it
works. Thanks, David
