Ok David, thanks. I am now on my way to a job but should be able to
check my Email in an hour or so to see if there is a new build. I
cannot promise to give you feedback on it though until you during the
night your time.

Testers,

I'm working furiously and will be posting the next build of TypeAbility within an hour. It will include the fixes for the issues you've brought up. It will also have the default dictation preference of Typing echo turned

off. There will, of course, be a User Preference to turn it on.

David,
Firstly I didn't actually turn off Typing echo at all, but you are
right.
According to my user preferences with all 4 users it was turned off.
I will do a fresh install of TypeAbility on my desktop and test it out
again, but it's working at the moment.
Sorry if it caused a problem, but at least we nailed it. Now to find
out
why
when I create a new user Typing echo is not being turned on by
default.

Scott,
Thanks for the INI file and debug reports. The reason why you're not hearing

typing echo during dictation, is because it has been turned off. If
you
press CONTROL SHIFT +U, you'll hear your user preferences. listen
closely
to

Items 8 and 9. Item 8 will tell you that you have no typing echo
during
Dictation tasks.
Then turn back typing echo on in the User Preference dialog and see
how it
works.
Thanks,
David
