Subject: Welcome to the new Twickenham Tigers U17s season!

Hello all!

I trust you all had a good summer?  And I hope all the lads are ready and
raring to go for a new season!

The EBFA has finally released the new league structure and fixtures for the
coming season.  We will be in Division 4 (of 5) of the U17s league.  This is a
division higher than we have played in before, so we can expect some tough
matches.  You can find a list of our fixtures

We have had quite a few departures and new joiners over the summer, leaving us
with a squad of 20 (although we only currently have 13 players eligible to play
due to some outstanding registration issues).  It’s only really feasible to
field a squad of max 14 players each week, so on weeks where more lads than
that are available, we will need to rest players.  We will try to do this as
equitably as possible.  To help with this, I have created an updated player
availability

  Please can I ask you to keep this up to date with the dates when your lad
will be available / unavailable, by marking up the grid with “Yes” or “No” as
appropriate.  Please use a PC or tablet to do this – it will be very hard to do
on your phone!

I note that only a very few of you have so far completed your registration with
Twickenham Tigers, installed the FA Matchday app and paid your annual subs.
You should have received an email from

with the details on how to do this (please check your Junk Email folders).  If
you are struggling with this please email our membership secretary, Daniel

he will help you with the process.

Finally, we start the season this coming Saturday with a friendly vs Teddington
Athletic at SpringWest Academy, Browells Ln, Feltham TW13 7EF, kick-off at
10:00.  All the lads are welcome to attend, and we will rotate players through
the match.  Please be at the ground by 09:30, so the boys can warm up, and we
can set up the pitch.  And please complete the player availability
