Well not sure great and glorious was exactly the correct description but it was
a comfortable victory.
The real positives for me were some great passing and for the first time I can
hear the boys talking to each other on the pitch which is brilliant.
Looking forward to next week...

A great and glorious 3-1 victory today – well done, lads! Next week, we are
away at Eversley and California Rangers. (I’m hoping the pitch is in Eversley,
rather than California! 😊). No start time yet, but I’ll ask for a 10.30 kick
off, so we don’t have to be on the road too early.
We have been asked by Bracknell Athletic to move our home game scheduled for
the 1st December to the 17th November (when we both have a bye). Please let me
know by 5pm Monday if your son cannot make the 17th Nov.
Just for completeness, our current list of matches is attached. We can expect
some cup matches to come into the schedule soon.

I’m afraid we lost 6-1 today against West Byfleet Scorpions, although I’d say
the score didn’t reflect what was actually quite a close match. But I’ll leave
Jamie to provide more commentary!
Next week, we are at home to Westwood Wanderers. We will play at Marble Hill
Park, kick off 10am.
Please ensure the lads are at Marble Hill by 09.15 to warm-up. And please can
we have a few parents there are that time, too, to help with setting up?
Please let Jamie know if your son cannot play next week, otherwise we will
assume they are available.
