Hi all,
A really good game this morning. It’s good to see such competitive games and
great that the boys kept going to the end despite some tired legs.
Some great defending from the endless corners and we still could have won the
game in the end.
I’m away this week ( back for Saturday ) but can I request that all parents
have a word with their children to make sure they listen and don’t mess about
at training. They’ve got so much to learn in such a short window and as soon as
people start to mess about it makes it really difficult for the coaches. It’s
started to slip again last couple of weeks. Same for Saturdays, in general they
are fine but I don’t do long team talks and I expect respect and focus whilst
doing it.

Hello All,
We managed a 3 – 3 draw today vs Eversley & California Rangers. We started
strong, with 3 goals in the first 15 minutes, but then lost our way for a
while. The lads rallied in the last 15 minutes, but couldn’t quite get another
goal.
Next Saturday, 6th October, we are hosting STB&G FC Reds for the first game of
the Trophy knock-out competition. STB&G Reds are in the division above us in
the league, but they have taken a few defeats this season (including a 7 – 0
thrashing by Moormeads), so I think we stand a good chance!
Kick-off will be 10.00AM at Marble Hill Park. Please be there by 09.00 for the
warm-up and to help set up the pitch.
Please let Jamie know by end-of-day Tuesday if your son is NOT available.
Thanks and Regards,
PG
