[trowmensshed] wood for the old tools project Hi All,The wood has arrived ready
for the project -heavy stuff and hopefully will fit in the gap ok after
painting. Thing is - it's not going to fit in our car and it's too heavy to
carry. It's 1500mm x 1000mm -anyone able to help with that please?I'm doing a
project for the museum this week, but can hopefully make a start with it next
week.Old Tools ProjectIn case anyone doesn't know what I'm doing here, I'm not
completely sure myself yet but thought it an idea to display old wood and metal
tools, mostly carpentry in the space in the meeting area at the menshed.I'm
after old tools as well if anyone can add to our collection. (sorry Dave, more
crap coming in) and then decisions can be made like cleaning them up or doing
something bizarre with them, like painting them. I'm also hoping to re-cycle or
use in some functional or aesthetic way - which may fit in well with the
ongoing project to put tools in a box? I thought the ones which remain with us
on display may hold some sentimental value or be a talking point.Any thoughts
or ideas please let me know.Thank you Adrian for the wormery input and I now
see why Kev and Al bought ready made ones -you'd obviously done your homework
on costing!Jill-- Jill Hillman MA Fine Art20 West Ashton RoadBA14
