Dear all,
Just to advise you that Trowbridge area board still has funding totalling @£15k
left in the Capital grants pot for this financial year.
The next meeting in March will be the last of the financial year, so the
deadline for grant applications is technically 1st Feb (I can however be
flexible by a week or so, as long as applications are not missing essential
information or match funding when submitted).
Community Grants are for Capital items such as storage equipment, gardening
equipment, building works (subject to permission/consents/community use etc),
sport equipment (but not just replacement of existing equipment), sheds, IT
equipment, outdoor pursuits equipment, tents, office equipment etc.
Applications need to be from not- for- profit community groups and
organisations, for projects of community benefit and ideally matching our JSA
priorities attached. Match funding is not required for projects up to £1000 but
is required for all projects over this amount. The maximum amount that can be
applied for is £5,000.

Please give me a ring if you have an idea for a project and we can discuss
further.
We also have funding left in the Health and Wellbeing pot for projects that
support older and vulnerable people in the community.
Grants can be applied for things such as setting up local projects that support
health and wellbeing, mental health, independent living, support for carers,
people with dementia, preventing social isolation, provision of information and
advice.
The Health and Wellbeing application forms and scoring criteria are also
attached.
