Hi Troop,
Tomorrow we'll hold elections for leadership. If you need leadership for
your next rank advancement, I highly encourage you to run. No matter what,
I urge you to come and participate in electing your troop leadership for
the coming six months.
We'll also have a Camporee review, and let's work out a date for next
month's backpacking trip and take advantage of this week's rain. The only
dates I myself can make until mid-June are this coming weekend, April
29-May 1, but we have plenty of other adults who can lead a great trip. If
we went next weekend, how does a two-nighter in Big Sur sound? Maybe even
with a side trip to Pinnacles National Park? Of course we have plenty of
closer destinations to visit in this perfect time of the year: both the
Sespe Wilderness and the Nira area are open.
