I'll be out of town for Easter, and we have traditionally not met that
weekend. If you need advancement work, contact a senior Scout, adult, or
leader and let's arrange a time during the week.
It was great to be at Camporee again, and I was happy to know an Eagle
project was happening back in sunny Santa Barbara. Congratulations to Jack
Grube for winning the Dave Cantin Dutch Oven Cookoff! The troop and the
Cantin family appreciate your effort! And congratulations to those who were
elected to Order of the Arrow: Ethan Camp, Matthias Everest, Charlie Payne,
Jon Seawards. Nate and I are also honored to have been elected as adult
candidates. I have envelopes for those who weren't present to receive them
in person. For now, candidates should know that weekends for the ordeal are
May 13-15 and August 5-7. Any who were elected to OA in 2021 have an
extension to this year and can join OA by coming to one of these weekends.
Let's plan on having elections the following Sunday, April 24.
