We are meeting at the Cold Springs Trailhead on E Mountain Drive tomorrow. If
help showed up around 9:30am that would be great! Yes, water is a good idea
maybe some snacks as well, gloves are optional if you’re a gloves person then
bring em.
Additional info: The bench spot is about a mile in and 500ft up so we’ll start
with that part of the project and then work our way back down to do the trail
signs which are all closer to the trailhead. We’ll take a lunch break back at
the truck between finishing the bench and doing the signs which should be
around 1230 or 1300 (my mom will bring sandwiches).

Jon, I'll come and stay as long as I can. What time and place do we meet, and
what should we bring with us? (Gloves? Water?)

Hello Troop,
I’m looking for 3-4 scouts to come help me post signs and install my bench on
Cold Springs Trail this Saturday. I’m guessing this will take at most 6 hours
(9am to 3pm) to be liberal but feel free to come for just the
morning/afternoon. Also the work is pretty physically demanding: carrying
lumber and tools up the trail, digging holes, leveling ground ect. so keep
that in mind. My dad will be there to watch us (especially for the bench
which involves concrete) but if another adult feels inclined to support their
help is more than welcome.
I’m really excited to have reached this stage of my project and I want to
thank everyone who has helped me get here, it’s a process!

Also keep in mind this most definitely counts for trail work hours needed
for the 50 Miler Patch.
