Hi Troop,
Our district is holding a Camporee on April 8-10 at Larsen's Meadow next to
Rancho Alegre. Boys have really enjoyed this get-together over the years,
so I'm happy it's back. On Sunday the boys decided their activity would be
"what's wrong with this campground?" Matthias and James are taking the lead
in designing it.
Cost of attending Camporee is $25, which includes a Friday night hotdog
dinner. An extra $10 gets you a Saturday night tri-tip dinner. That night
troops will be competing in the Dave Cantin Dutch oven cookoff. Any takers
for doing that?
Scouts will need both Class A and Class B uniforms. We'll also need a truck
to take our poles and lash together our gateway.
