Everyone,
Hi! Campout this weekend, woo hoo! This is a one-night campout, but the plan
is to focus on the requirements for those Scouts that are not yet First Class,
so please ensure that your Scout can attend if they are not yet First Class.
We will be working on the Totin’ Chip (knife/axe/saw safety), cooking, fire
building, and knots – as much of this kind of stuff as we can get done.
Also, we need one more adult for camping – we like to have a minimum of 3
adults, in case there are any issues because we cannot leave less than two
adults for any event. Plus it is WAY easier to organize the camping and all
events going on and keep the schedule going. Just reply back to this email if
you are able to camp with us this weekend! I will be attending for a period of
time to ensure the Grub Masters are good to go on their duties.

One-Night Camping (Not Cold Weather, Not High-Adventure) Checklist:
· Try to wear a Class-B Scout shirt (T-shirt with any type of Scout
logo/info on it)
· Scout Handbook
· Sleeping Bag
· Rain Poncho/Rain Jacket
· Sweatshirt, Jacket or lightweight coat – look up the weather
temperature
· Cot if you have one
· Padding mat for cot or sleeping bag if you have one
· Pillow
· Flashlight
· Pocket Knife, if you have one
· Camp chair – if you have one, and you do not keep yours in the Scout
Trailer
· Water bottle – optional, just if you want one, we will have water in
coolers and cups there
· Waterproof footwear – if possible
· One set of clothes
· One extra pair of socks
· Hat
