Thanks so much for letting me know! Do you know if there was any sign of
the rocket itself? I was using friction retention, so I am guessing it
wasn't tight enough and the case blew out at ejection. I'm eager to know
where the motor was recovered; it seems like the rocket wouldn't be too far
away. If the chute didn't come out at all, I'd imagine the rocket it only a
couple dozen feet forward of where the motor was found and buried in the
ground a couple inches.

Excellent! That's the exact size I was using. It should be a Pro29 6g with
a spacer and 5g motor.

Unfortunately this morning I lost my GPS lock on the sustainer of my
first high power multistage rocket as a certified junior flyer. The rocket
held a jl altimeter 2, an eggfinder mini, and a cti 29 6 grain case, among
other things I would like back. Despite driving around for about an hour,
we could find no sign of the rocket. It arched very North as the sustainer
motor ignited at a steep angle, though it may have been blown back to the
parking area by the severe winds. Attached is the full rocket on the pad.
If anyone has seen the sustainer, or has any information regarding
the whereabouts of my rocket, I would be extremely grateful.
