some of us have a terrifc aversion to nay of Netscapes stuff anymore since it
was taken over by AOL... check out WWW.GRC.COM and take a look at the
spayware stuff there... NETSCAPE is dead on and no way to not allow it to be
spyware other than to delete it,besides it isnt that great anymore in
comparison to lot of other browsers.... in all tests to date conducted by
impartial testers of all the popular PC sites,Netscape is pretty sorry state
in its attempts to get better.. it alos is very vulnerable to attcks.. easier
then pie to get into ones pc by even the least experienced
hacker....besides..... wont be long coming up that when it comes to the OS
you use any and all updates will be just about automatic, soon as you hit the
web. Wont be any control on your part... will be installed wheter you want it
or not ... many companies are now doing it wiht their programs
unfortunately.... and doesnt seem to be anyway one can stop them.... in a few
cases I have succeded in stopping unwanted forced updates, but it was
considerable work to work around them....
