[triadtechtalk] Lost briefcase

When I try open my briefcase ,
by clicking on the icon ,
it sends me to the last file I had open.
I went to make a new briefcase per the help instructions,
but briefcase is not listed in the 9 options under/ file/new/--
Appreciate any help.
