Hello Al , just another reminder that Marc never got the fame He so
desperately wanted in the States. Yes it has been very quite around here ,
I meant to post a thread about the Free Streaming service tubitv.com .While
searching for something to watch I came across two 2 documentaries on Marc
Bolan and T.Rex.It’s a very good free legal streaming site with very few
commercials and a lot of really good movies and TV shows. You have to
search to find something you like there so much content in there , but they are
some really hidden Gems in there.I’ve enjoyed some really good movies and
concerts that I had never seen before. As main stream media like HBO , Amazon
,BBC, ITV and the others seemed to have totally over board with crime gloom and
doom showsIt’s refreshing to watch something a bit lighter in these dark times.
Still staying close to home , got the Man cave set up for watching movies
and listening to music lol.Hope everyone is well and still staying safe.Stewart

Although I didn't see it, there was a video question on Jeopardy last week.
A picture of Marc was shown and the contestants were asked to identify the
person.
Sadly, no one knew who it was.
When my friend told me about this I responded with "Sic transit gloria".
This is a Latin phrase meaning "Thus passes glory". It's a shortening of the
phrase "Sic transit gloria mundi" or "thus passes the glory of the world". It
was used for centuries in the coronation of Roman Catholic popes.
I was using it in the sense of "fame is fleeting" but as soon as the words
were out of my mouth I realized how funny it was given that Gloria was driving
the car (in transit, as it were) in Marc's fatal accident.
I'm a big fan of puns and especially love multi-lingual puns. This would
have been the perfect one, if only I had meant it.
Ah, well!
Been very quiet here lately. I hope everyone is doing well, staying
healthy, and enjoying life.
All the best, Al
