Dear subcommittee members and friends:
We plan to introduce our first issue of newsletter soon. We would like to
specifically request for your contributions if you have any projects, research
papers, course development, and news that you would like to share in this
subcommittee.
We intend to make the newsletter a regular publication (quarterly at this
moment) and to use it to keep you in touch with news, stories, and advances in
research and practice related to Emerging Technologies in Network Modeling. For
the upcoming issues, the newsletter will focus on (1) recent activities taking
place at this committee, (2) call for papers, conferences/workshops/webinars,
and funding opportunities, and (3) research and project highlights. We will
also include other news, such as new regulations or industrial advancements
that significantly impact the emerging technologies in transportation.

comments are greatly appreciated.
