Dear Members and Friends of ADB50-5 subcommittee,
Hope you all enjoyed your TRB annual meeting and returned to your own places
safely. We had a great subcommittee annual meeting in this TRB. More than 60
people participated this meeting and many ideas and potential activities were
proposed and discussed in this meeting. Thanks again for your supports!
According to our discussions, below please see some on-going actions/efforts.

1) Subcommittee newsletter
Dr. Sean (Xiaozheng) He (hex6@xxxxxxx<mailto:hex6@xxxxxxx>) and Dr. Ziqi
Song (ziqi.song@xxxxxxx<mailto:%20ziqi.song@xxxxxxx>) are currently leading
this activity. Please feel free to contact them if you are interested in
participating.
Dr. He and Dr. Song will talk about how to run this newsletter in details
by a separate e-mail.
2) Breakout session in 2019 AVS: Enabling AV transportation network: from
individual vehicle motion control to network fleet management
Drs. Jiaqi Ma; Xiaopeng Li and Lili Du are taking the leading efforts
with the participants: Drs. Yang Liu, Ziqi song, Sevgi Erdogan, Bo Zou, Danjue
Chen.

3) IEEE ITSC session: Network Modeling Solutions for Connected and
Automated Vehicles: Advances in Computing and Communication Technologies
Dr. Michael W. Levin is leading the efforts with the participants
including Drs. Leila Hajibabai; Samiul Hasan, Sevgi Erdogan, Lili Du and Elise
Miller-Hooks.
This IEEE ITSC session has been approved. Below please see the
