Thanks for this Danielle - hope you are going ok. My eldest is positive now so
we are isolating til next week.. It might mean the student program doesn't
start until week 3 which is a shame, but does give me a little extra time to do
some additional planning.
Let's go for Sunday 20th. Megan is happy with this date. I think we can keep it
simple with BYO lunch, unless anyone want to organise a BBQ
Danielle, if you're able to update the posters and sign ups that would be
wonderful! I can put in the request to put it up on compass once we have the
poster.
I'll set up a small table for the welcome bbq to advertise the working bee and
try to recruit some more people.
Love the idea of a big stall for the carers day bbq - in the past I have
ordered bulbs from Trenton cottage: http://www.trentoncottage.com.au/
There are a heap of plants in the nursery that Aviva has propagated with
students that would be great to sell aswell.

HI Emily, Good luck this week, I am so happy to got the job!
I can't commit to either of those dates, sorry I am in covid recovery and
trying not to commit to anything much right now.
I am happy to organise the signup/posters etc.. if needed.
I have attached a poster and sign up. We've used the past. Happy to amend it if
you like.
Also Michelle Harmer has sent me the dates for the school bbq's & events
Carers day would be a great one to have a big sale. Seeds and bulbs also did
really well last time and we could also sell those at Trivia night. I'd be
keen to also grow some plants ourselves to sell...maybe I'll think about that
next term!
Term 1:
Welcome BBQ - Thursday 17 Feb (no cake stall)
Prep family welcome - Sunday 13 March
Term 2:
Carer's (mothers) day BBQ - Friday 6th May
Term 3:
Trivia Night - Saturday 7th or 14th August TBC
Carer's (Father's) day BBQ - Friday 2nd September
Term 4:
Mango orders - Sept/Oct. (Delivery early December)
End of year (Xmas) BBQ - Thursday 8th December.
