Hi All,
I am involved with a NGO called PAAD-Professionals' Association for Action
and Development that was started by a group of professionals from different
fields to work for the underprivileged group of the society. My maternal
uncle had started the organization and my mother is an Executive Director in
the organization. I am involved with the organization since 2003 and had
then started with a project for education for underprivileged children.
We had started working with 10 dropout children from a slum in Bhubaneswar
and have expanded our operations in 3 yrs to support around 200
underprivileged children in our dropout centre, 3 preschools and a tribal
primary school in the same slum area. Going forward with this project we
want to support underprivileged children for higher education and even
professional services through our pilot project.
Right now, we are looking for funds and support from different corporate
organizations to stabilize our present projects. We need your help in this
context as I heard from Mitali that you are also involved in similar kind of
activities in Satyam. I have attached a PPT that will give you more details
of our work done so far.
