Subject: [torontocbm] World of Commodore 2021 Countdown!
Hi all,
World of Commodore 2021 is coming up this Saturday!
As a hybrid event, there will be two parallel portions on Saturday: In-Person
at the Admiral Inn Mississauga, and Online through Zoom/YouTube. Sunday will
be strictly online discussions through Zoom, no set agenda.
Details are on this page, including Zoom links (which may be updated at the
last minute, so always check that page).

Important things to note:
1. It is not necessary to pre-register. Admission is Pay What You Can,
suggested $10 (see above page for PayPal/Interac addresses).
2. Masks (all) and proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (for 12+) are required for
entry. Acceptable proof consists of Photo ID along with the 2nd dose receipt
(1 for J&J) from any Canadian province (printed or electronic) dated 2 weeks
prior, the Verify Ontario QR Code (or equivalent from other provinces), or your
ArriveCAN entry status. If you need clarification on your method of proof or
exemptions, please ask the volunteer team well in advance before coming
(info@xxxxxxx<mailto:info@xxxxxxx>). The Management Committee and their
delegates will have final say on what is accepted.
3. The hotel has informed us they are open at full capacity, however please do
follow social distancing guidelines. We reserve the right to limit the
capacity in the main room if it doesn't look like social distancing is
reasonable. If you're just chitchatting, please consider the lounge area
outside the main room, or the hotel lobby.
4. If you are at all unsure, please attend the virtual event. If you are
uncomfortable with crowds during COVID-19, please attend the virtual event. If
you're not on board with the COVID-19 rules, please attend the virtual event.
5. The Raffle is happening, although it may look a little different this year!
Please bring any items you're able to donate. (More details at the event)
6. The Freebie Table will be there as always. Feel free to bring your random
computer items in need of a new home. (Please ensure they're at least somewhat
usable/salvageable)
7. Please don't post any COVID-19 misinformation or speculation on this list,
you will be banned.
Thanks all for your support and patience. Please keep in mind we are all
volunteers, putting this humble event together on our lunch breaks and evenings.
Thanks all,
-TPUG Management Committee (Ennio, Leif, Bryan, Ian, Stewart) and all the
volunteers!
