Hi Walter,
The 65C02 chip is still in production and available.
I think I have some NOS MC6850 and MC6821 chips that I bought in mid 1980s when
I was into building 6800 based controllers.
Send me PM, if interested.
Cheers,
Brian

Subject: [torontocbm] Briel Altair 8800micro & Briel Apple 1plus Replica (home
brew wire wrap)
Any interest in seeing either of these devices?
be happy to show them off?
please let me know...
http://www.brielcomputers.com
Also hoping to homebrew/wirewrap an OSI Supperboard II replica from Briel as
well.
but wondering Joe if you have any 65C02 chips (cmos version of the 6502) and
perhaps 6850 serial port chip?
a 6821 would be handy as well if you have one in your collection :) Happy to
puchase any and or all of the above chips... :) ( I dont want to scavenge a
better computer to make an inferior computer ... )
I must say I did get a kick out of building the Replica 1plus from scratch
first time wire wrapping.
Cheers...
Also I have a Propeller powered Pocket Mini computer ( users a parallax
propeller as the processor and runs basic )
i can bring that as well :) ( it emulates a no name retro computer ) Another
Propeller Powered project is the MicroMite companion... I will be building one
of these as well very soon:
http://propellerpowered.com/shop/?page_id=1946
uses a vga monitor, does "sid" chip audio, as well as sprites etc... :) using
two microcontrollers...
a parallax propeller and a Microchip ( I can bring that in once done )
