Why, indeed. Back in the day when these machines were introduced, the Atari
ST was considered a "Cheap Macintosh," while the Amiga was considered the
"Computer of the future." The Amiga really did have capabilities beyond
anything in its class, and even beyond computers well above its class.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not even something to be argued. The Amiga
always cost more than the ST, which was priced more competitively against 8
bit computers like the C128. The ST was a sensible low-cost solution for
people wanting a 16 bit computer. The Amiga was for people who wanted
something more.

why amiga ??,
it is the same as atari from where i'm sitting..
in fact if we even try to argue about this

some dumb street kid will interrupt to tell us
that his new electronic pen has more
memory
and a
bolder hi def screen ,
plus a removable hard drive ..
at half the size ,,,,,,,,,.

so you like the amigas now , what changed you?

i think the emulator is on" page 6 atari archive disks of atari items",
but there are eleven hundred disks to search //////////

or they are on "cdtextfiles 806 atari disks"?

i dunno , i give up .

i forget , maybe we can just stab that kid with his own pen and tell him to
be happy with what he got,,

i'm sure you'll find amiga workbench 500 1.0 or 1,5 somewhere...sorry
completely atari
it's getting late , goodnight james

charles
