Gentlemen,
Wouldn't you know it, we welcome Art Dunford back and he nabs a closest to the
pin on #6 - just missed a hole in one. As far as #3 is concerned Mr. O'Brien
stole $11 from my starving family. The team of Ron, Carl, Earl and Les won the
match by 4 strokes. Mr Prairie had a very nice 88/64.
Tomorrow, we have seven full teams playing, the largest turnout this fall. We
have four groups teeing off the first hole with seven PC matches being played.
In order to give the remaining three groups a little room, the Jon Gassett
foursome will start on 17, the Mike Marcus foursome will start on 16, and the
Randy Martin foursome will start on 15.
We all are playing Gary's Game which is a poker game using Team Net Stableford.
I will have a hand out which will explain the game and indicate the playing
cards that can be won on each hole. (Incidentally, I checked the scoring on
today's three teams and we should have played it today. Our team had five
Aces, the highest score. The other two teams had 4 Aces. We missed 8 cards.
The Brandt gang missed seven cards, and the Tuffli team missed ten cards.)
