It is not on any TN list that I have seen. The TN moth-ers have not reported
it in 2010 or 2011.

Ken, the species host is dogwood, but my reference only reports it south into
Kentucky and west into Texas; I don't know if there is a lep list for
Tennessee, so it could be a new state record if my ID is correct.
Congratulations . BUCK

    Thanks, Buck!
There is some serious wear on my moth but O. exaeresima does look like a
strong possibility.

To me, this looks more like Olethreutes exaeresima Hodges 2825 based upon
photo in Olethreutine Moths of the Midwestern United States an Identification
Guide. by Gilligan, Wright, and Gibson, 2008 from the Bulletin of the Ohio
Biological Survey 16(2) however the photos are of spread moths and the color is
not washed out as in your shots. BUCK

Can anyone tell me if this is 2776 Olethreutes furfuranum or what it is
if it isn't O. furfuranum?
