Doug Bruce and I made a trip through Bledsoe, Sequatchie, Grundy, Franklin, and Moore counties 29 thru 31 March 2012. Moths that I photographed are listed below. 29 March Grundy Forked euchlaena (H6737) 29 March Franklin Idia parvulalis (H8335) 30 March Moore Alien probole (H6837) 30 March Grundy Common Oak Moth (H8591) 31 March Sequatchie Common Oak Moth (H8591) Mournful Thyris (6077) Zanclognatha dentata (H8349.1) Of these I am reasonably confident on the IDs of the Common Oak Moths and the Mournful Thyris. I am fairly confident on the Forked euchlaena. The rest are a guess at best. Note that all were photographed in daylight hours except the 29 March specimen from Franklin County. I would appreciate your comments and corrections. Thanks for your help, Harold Howell Grainger County Rutledge, TN
