I photographed a clubtail at William B. Clark State Natural Area in Fayette
County on June 30, 2015. Initially I called it a Midland Clubtail. After some
discussion at OdonataCentral it turns out I was wrong. The clubtail is
actually a Riverine Clubtail (Stylurus amnicola) which is a Tennessee state
record! It was good to be wrong this time. The clubtail was photographed
along a sandbar on the Wolf River along the border with the natural area.
OdonataCentral had records to the north and east and a few south of TN until
this record was accepted
