[TN-Butterflies] Wilson Co 4/6, Davidson Co 4/7 FOYs

April 6, 2013 Cedars of Lebanon SF, Wilson Co. TN
 
A short drive down Cedar Forest Rd. yielded some first-of-year sightings  
for the county, and a few more FOYs for me. Glade Cress was the favorite 
nectar  plant in bloom. A plum tree in bloom had dozens of insects working the 
blossoms,  bees, flies and one Henry's elfin.
In order of appearance:
 
E. Tiger Swallowtail - 2
Falcate Orangetips - a goodly number
Clouded Sulfur
Southern Dogface - 4
Henry's Elfin - 6
Juniper Hairstreak - 4
Gray Hairstreak - 3 
Sleepy Orange - 3
Pearl Crescent - 1
Goatweed Leafwing - 5
Juvenal's Duskywing - 1
