[TN-Butterflies] Some bugs from Polk County

Butterflies are scarce the last few weeks in Polk County, too dry, no nectar. However, there are a few little beauties to be seen.

Here is a Painted Lady on Coneflower



Here's a Snowberry Clearwing taking a siesta on a velvety leaf


Next is a Carolina Satyr (that needs a shave) with a tiny little buddy sitting next to him.


The tiny little buddy is a Yellow-Striped Leafhopper ( Sibovia occatoria )



Last photo is a very strange bug that eats moths, called a Wheel Bug  ( Arilus cristatus ). It looks like a miniature Dinosaur
